Almost 5 years since the last post... Decided to continue with the same blog than start off a new one. These 5 years have seen me work my back off at India's largest IT Services company as a Human Resource Professional, get married and then move on to pursue a second masters at TISS, Mumbai and finally land a job with a company that is helping me post this, Microsoft.
The transition from college to corporate to family to college has been eventful indeed. These 5 years have seen me lose badly enough for me to want to bawl out like a kid. These years have also shown me happiness beyond what I have ever experienced.
Stakeholder management is not just a business jargon but a reality of life. My survival and success or lack of it can only be attributed to this single concept. I might revisit this blog entry another decade later and have a different take on it then. But now this stands as true. Right from managing irate line managers, through managing expectations of a doting wife, and finally to picking up books after a gap of 3 long years, this half a decade have seen me juggle between the data driven fiend and the hopeless romantic.
As birds start chirping early this morning outside my hostel window, I make a sacred vow to myself to blog in regularly. Follow my early days in TISS at http://abhishekde18.blogspot.in/. Will continue to post in this blog from now on.
