Back to back posts on Consecutive Days!!!

This is indeed a record in itself..But considering that time is not really a constraint, there is nothing to be surprised if I post twice the same day either. So I guess 2 posts on consecutive days is pretty pardonable.
Today was yet another day in my more or less uneventful life. I am actually pretty excited today as I am attending a marriage tomorrow. My friend's brother is getting married. It's been ages since I have attended one of those things and I am really looking forward to that. It was rather sweet of her to invite me in the first place.
Today was made important because of the fact that one of the most underrated players in World cricket, MEK Hussey of Australia proved yet again that he is potential greatness in the making. He remained unbeaten yet again and that too with wickets tumbling about him like nine pins. How I wish our Indian cricket team takes a cue out of this young man's book and then maybe we wouldnt find ourselves so very vulnerable.
Another lesson for the day was that shit does happen to people, but those people who manage to flush it down, are the one's who manage to move on in life beyond shit.

Back from my Self Imposed Exile

I am reverting to my highly dormant and inactive blog when my stint at B School is almost over. Ever since my last post, a lot has changed. Another semester has flown by and I now have the coveted "Placed" tag around me. However, this tag sit uneasily and ungainly around my neck as there is still a lot of speculation as to who has adorned me with it. The keenly and closely contested battle between TCS and HP for a favourable share of my mind space is finally over. At least it id for the time being... I am proud to announce that TCS has won. But I must also acknowledge that HP did fight bravely but finally the profile won over the package, with numerous supporters of both trying to sway my decision either way. HP supporters plz do not lose heart. Knowing my fickle mind, u never know!!!
B school gets over in 2 months time and then its me and the proverbial "big bad world". I hope that the bout would be evenly contested and that life doesnt catch me unawares in some dark alley.

Big Day Tomorrow

Leaving for this village called JaliKakinada tomorrow. Would be travelling to and fro from the village to the town where I would be staying over the next 7 days. The training programme that I have developed rolls out day after and I am lucky to be involved completely in doing the same. Hope I persevere and manage to do some good to the ignorant villagers (And also to my grades!!) Would post when I am back on the 3rd.

I'm Back after a Long Hiatus!!

Life has moved on since my last post and now looking back, I do realize that it indeed has moved at a very fast pace. I have landed in ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. Dunno whether to be happy or to be sad!! Indifference is the most appropriate reaction now as already one yr has passed by.. One yr when I cud have made amends has gone past and the time is not right to repent. So lemme fill u in with what happened during this long lull!! 2 sems at IBS hyd have flown by and I am seriously doubting the level of value addition that has happened here. My SIP is drawing to a close now. Supposed to wrap up everything by the 10th of May. Mr. Harsh Bhargava as my guide has been immensely helpful and the SIP is probably the only good thing that has happenned to me at IBS. The organization is an NGO called the Byrraju Foundation, a social initiave of Satyam. Its a pretty good deal minus the pinch of not getting a stipend. I get to have a lot of free hand in the area of my work (Training and Development) which involves imparting English Skills to the villagers working at GramIT which is the rural BPO set up by the Foundation.
Hope that the uniqueness of this projest does help in getting me a decent placement. Chosen varied electives for 3rd and 4th sems. Might change them still!! Lets wait and watch.
